We've created a safe environment to resume treatments that were paused due to COVID-19. We're also accepting new appointments for cleanings and preventative care.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much will my visit cost?
Patient out of pocket costs vary based on the care needed as well as the level of insurance coverage. We accept many types of insurance, such as Medicaid, State Children's Health Insurance Programs (SCHIP), and United Concordia's Tricare, as well as many private insurance plans, such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, and United Healthcare. If you are unsure about your coverage or don’t have insurance, contact our office for an estimate.
Do you take Medicaid?
Yes, we accept most insurance plans, including Medicaid, State Children's Health Insurance Programs (SCHIP), and United Concordia's Tricare.
What do I need to bring for my visit?
Always bring your insurance card, if you have one, and a current photo ID. Our office may also require contact information and birth date of each patient.
How do I help my child not be afraid?
We recommend talking to your child to help prepare them for their visit. Explain what the dentist does and why, and that dentists are there to help. It may be helpful to walk your child through an imaginary dentist visit or share videos and books about going to the dentist. Allow them to ask questions, and perhaps even bring them along during your next appointment. Many children also benefit from bringing a favorite toy or blanket to their appointment.
What will my child’s visit be like?
We provide many of the same services for children as we do for adults. However, we tailor appointments for children to be welcoming and positive. We make every effort to help your child understand what the dentist is doing; he or she will demonstrate the tools and procedures for your child before beginning to work. At the end of your visit, our staff will make sure that children and parents understand what is required for ongoing care.
What will my visit cost?
The cost of each visit depends on the services you receive as well as your insurance coverage. Contact our office staff for a more detailed quote.
Can I wait in the room with my child?
Yes! Most children benefit from having a trusted adult in the room during their treatment. If you are concerned about being a distraction for your child or other issues, our staff will help you decide what is best for your family.
